INTRO

Tell us about yourself.


My name is Pei Ni, you can call me Debbie as well. My hometown is at Penang. I currently taking Bachelor of Mass Communication in Advertising and Brand Management. My hobbies are watching movies, listening music, and cafe hopping.

My passion is becoming a joyful person. It is a lifelong passion that has transformed my life in profound ways. It has enabled me to be appreciated in everyday moments, deepen my connections with others, and find fulfillment in the pursuit of inner happiness. It has become a guiding light, reminding me to choose joy, embrace gratitude, and savor the sweetness of life's journey.

What’s motivate you to achieve your dream?


The desire for personal well-being and happiness is a primary motivation for me a lot. While joy can also act as a buffer against life's challenges and setbacks.

How do you want to visualize your dream into an artwork?


Imagine myself surrounded by a heavenly landscape, where every element represents joy and happiness. The scene is filled with vibrant colors, soft rays of sunlight, and a gentle breeze that carries the scent of blooming flowers. As when I look around, I see my favorite elements coming to life.

It is a paradise for me, which include all the elements that I loved and the things that related to me.

The concept behind the imagined heavenly landscape is to create a visual representation of joy and happiness. By surrounding myself with elements that bring me joy, the artwork aims to convey a sense of bliss and contentment.

The message conveyed by the envisioned artwork is that joy and happiness are within our reach, and we have the power to create a world filled with elements that bring us joy.

PART 2: DESIGN DIRECTION (WEEK 11)

The combination of clouds, butterflies, and flowers emphasizes the ethereal nature of this paradise. The clouds symbolize freedom and limitless possibilities, inviting me to dream and soar to new heights. The butterflies embody transformation and beauty, reminding me of the ever-changing nature of life and the joy that can be found in embracing each moment. The vibrant flowers represent the abundance of happiness and the power of nature's enchanting beauty.
The melodic tunes of my favourite music fill the air, creating a harmonious soundscape. 

 


To further make this artwork more clear to demonstrate the sense of joy, I try to add some more elements that I loved, such as the moon and the sketch words of my birthday month. While I also choose to add fairy wings behind me, to highlight that I am in paradise. 

This artwork combines elements like the moon, fairy wings, sketch words, and music to create a visual celebration of joy, personal symbolism, and the transformative power of being in this paradise.

In a vibrant and heavenly landscape, where every element symbolizes joy and happiness, we find ourselves surrounded by a symphony of colors, gentle breezes, and the fragrance of blooming flowers. Our favorite elements come to life, representing our individual sources of joy. This artwork concept aims to convey the message that happiness is within our reach and that we have the power to create a world that brings us joy.
